About the Event
Prof. Ngozi Eunice Egbuna International Centre for Regional Integration and Trade Research (ICRITR), Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka — in collaboration with the TRADE DEPARTMENT, FEDERAL MINISTRY OF INVESTMENT, TRADE AND INDUSTRY — is pleased to invite policymakers, legal practitioners, legislative aides, researchers, academics, trade and investment experts, ministry and parastatal staff, and private sector stakeholders to a Free Seminar on Understanding the World Trade Organization (WTO) and Its Impact on Nigeria’s Economic Development.
With the theme “Building Capacity for Effective Participation in Global Trade and Regional Integration,” the seminar aims to deepen understanding of the WTO’s structure, principles, and relevance to Nigeria’s economic growth, while equipping participants with practical knowledge for engaging in international trade frameworks.
The event will be facilitated by Prof. Ngozi Eunice Egbuna, Director of ICRITR and WTO Chair Nigeria, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka.
